Content Creators Policy

Purpose:

1. Definitions:
   • 1.1 Content creator: An individual or group producing video content intended for sharing and embedding on the Veel App.
   • 1.2 Product videos: Product videos made by content creators that are not directly commissioned by a brand but may be used by brands with appropriate permissions.
   • 1.3 Brands: Businesses or entities looking to leverage product videos from the Veel App for promotional or other purposes.
2. Video content guidelines:
   • 2.1 Originality: All videos uploaded to the Veel App must be the original work of the content creator. Plagiarism or the upload of copyrighted content without appropriate permissions is strictly prohibited.
   • 2.2 Quality: Videos should be of high quality in terms of resolution, sound, and content. They should be free from excessive noise, shaky camera movements, and other technical issues.
   • 2.3 Brand safe: Videos should not contain any content that can be deemed harmful, offensive, or inappropriate. This includes but is not limited to hate speech, excessive violence, explicit content, or misinformation.
   • 2.4 Disclosure: If a video has been sponsored or contains any form of advertisement, it must be clearly disclosed within the video and its description.
3. Brand-content creator relationship:
   • 3.1 Content creators may be approached by brands for potential collaborations. All terms of collaboration, including compensation, usage rights, and duration, must be clearly communicated and agreed upon.
   • 3.2 Brands must seek permission from content creators before using their product videos. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.
   • 3.3 Brands are encouraged to respect the creative integrity of content creators and avoid excessive edits or changes to the original video without consent.
4. Community guidelines:
   • 4.1 Respect: Content creators are expected to interact respectfully with others in the Veel App community, including other creators, brands, and users.
   • 4.2 Constructive Feedback: While constructive criticism is welcome, any form of harassment, bullying, or demeaning comments is strictly prohibited.
   • 4.3 Reporting: Users and content creators are encouraged to report any content or behavior that violates these guidelines. Veel App will take appropriate action, which may include removal of content or suspension/ban of accounts.
5. Monetization and Payments:
   • 5.1 Veel App may offer monetization opportunities for content creators. Specific terms, eligibility criteria, and payment details will be provided separately.
   • 5.2 Content creators are responsible for reporting their earnings for tax purposes in accordance with their local regulations.
6. Termination:
   • 6.1 Veel App reserves the right to terminate or suspend any account that consistently violates these guidelines or is found to engage in fraudulent activities.
7. Updates and Amendments:
   • This policy may undergo periodic revisions. Content creators are encouraged to review this document regularly to remain informed of any changes.
